A full eight days overdue, Colin James Gamble came into the world at 8:37PM EDT, with more hair on his head than daddy. This is the newborn photography shoot that I did at the age of 11 days, as well as a stop-motion video of his nursery being put together.
This is how I spent one Saturday afternoon: taking photos of the amazing Blayney family. We trucked out to Balls Falls, in Jordan, Ontario, took a hike up to the waterfalls and shot some photos.
With spring here, I thought I would stroll around the garden/yard and capture some of the plants in bloom.
Meet Brielle Bowen, the 8 day-old girl that was so excited to meet her family, that she arrived three weeks early.
In March 2012, my wife and I traveled to North Carolina to watch rounds two and three of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship; aka. “March Madness”
Meet Aleah. A friend and co-worker, Aleah is ten weeks pregnant with their third child together, a great photographer and she hates her picture being taken (I’m aware of the irony).
Every year, Tim Horton’s comes out with “Roll Up The Rim”. And every year, like a
dumbass good Canadian, I buy more coffees in a month than I should
For Week 4, I tried to do some macro shots of the bouquet my wife had at our wedding. I shot it with my kits lens (18-55mm), at 55mm, to get some depth of field into the image.
Armed with my D90, my kit lens (18-55mm/3.5) and a friend’s borrowed tripod, I drove off to the West Mountain. I will likely try night photography again in the future, but I wanted to give it at go near the beginning of this project.
My wife, Jamie, is 5 months pregnant. We are expecting our first child sometime around June 14, 2012 and with your first, comes the task of creating a nursery for your little bundle of joy.
