Kelly + DJ | Maternity Photography | Ancaster, ON |

A few months ago, good friends of mine, Kelly and DJ, announced to everyone that Kelly was pregnant. We were all more excited than normal, because Kelly and DJ had the misfortune of losing their first pregnancy. I mention this, because it explains the last photo: A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage or still birth. It is the beautiful and bright rainbow that follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better.

I could not be more excited for Kelly and DJ. They are going to be amazing parents and their kid (gender still unknown, hence the fifth picture with the balloons) is going to be showered with love.

The Laird family and I have done photos together before, back in 2014. We headed out to Webster’s Fall, in the Dundas Conservation Area, to update their photos!

The Hynes family and I headed out to McMaster University for their family shoot. Man, they were fun.
